Terms and Conditions


1. Definitions and Interpretation

1.1 In these Conditions:-

“the Company” means Great Sense Ltd, trading as Oseasons (a company registered in England and Wales under number 10104716) whose registered office is at 30 Berkeley Avenue, Poole, Dorset, BH12 4HZ;

“the Customer” means the person, firm or company whom places an order from the Company for the sale of the Goods or whose order for the Goods is accepted by the Company;

“Oseasons website” is in reference to the URL https://www.oseasons.com, which is the Oseasons official website.

“Coupon” or “Coupon code(s)” refers to a code that can be entered onto the checkout screen of the Oseasons website to deduct a specified percentage of the price.

 “these Conditions” means the standard terms and conditions of sale set out in this document and (unless the context otherwise requires) includes any special terms and conditions agreed in writing between the Customer and the Company;

“the Delivery Date” means the date on which the Goods are to be delivered as stipulated in the Customer’s order and accepted by the Company;

“the Goods” means the goods (including any instalment of the goods or any parts for them) which the Company is to supply in accordance with these Conditions;

“writing” includes any communications effected by telex, email, facsimile transmission or any comparable means.

“Business Day” means any working day, these days exclude Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays and most/all Public Holidays such as Christmas Day;

Gender: Words in the singular mean and include the plural and vice versa. Words in the masculine mean and include the feminine and vice versa.

1.2 Any reference in these Conditions to a statute or a provision of a statute shall be construed as a reference to that statute or provision as amended, re-enacted or extended at the relevant time.

1.3 The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation or construction of this document.

2. Application of Conditions

These Conditions apply to all purchases of products from the Company by phone, electronic, verbal, written media or agreeing for an order to be placed by the Company on your behalf, you agree to abide by these Conditions.

3. Products

Product and packing dimensions in some cases are approximate. There are likely to be slight variations from the sizes indicated for some Goods.

Actual PE rattan, fabric, and wood stains colours of the Goods are as accurate as printing and photography allow. The Company endeavours to display the colours of the Goods that appear on the website and physical media as accurately as possible. The Company will match the colour of fabrics to the samples chosen as accurately as possible, but variations may occur.

Product information, availability, prices, and/or specifications are subject to change without notice.

4. Pre-orders

The Oseasons website from time to time may display “Out of Stock” products. These items will be labelled with various “Pre-order” and “Pre-order only” descriptions on the website and will still be able to be added to the website’s shopping cart and be purchased on the website’s checkout screen. Once the Customer has made the order, the Customer will receive an email prompting the Customer to contact the Company about the timeframe of the Goods coming back into stock and the delivery specifics of said Goods.

If the Customer is unhappy with the Company’s timeframe of the Goods and wishes to cancel the order. The Customer will be given the option of; (i) Choosing Goods of an equivalent price and quality or; (ii) Cancelling the affected order and obtaining a full refund if the Company has already received payment from the Customer for the cancelled Goods.

5. Price of Goods

5.1 The price of the Goods shall be the price listed on the Oseasons website at the date of acceptance of the Customer’s order.

5.2 Unless stated otherwise on the Oseasons website checkout screen, the final price will include “free” shipping to the UK mainland only, which under the Company’s definition excludes the Scottish Highlands, Ireland and the Channel Islands.

5.3 Any Coupon codes that are used by the Customer on the checkout screen will deduct the respective Coupon’s price percentage from the final on screen price. In the case that the item has an additional shipping price, the Coupon may not deduct a percentage from said shipping price.

5.4 All prices on the Oseasons website including RRP are inclusive of Value Added Tax. The Delivery price, unless stated otherwise on the Oseasons website/checkout is also included into the final price with Value Added Tax built into the final price.

5.5 The Company reserves the right to require that the goods are paid prior to dispatch from the Company’s warehouse.

6. Terms of Payment

6.1 The methods of available payment types will be shown on checkout of the Customer’s order. The Customer will choose one of these methods to make payment. Once payment has been received by the Company, the order will then be processed.

6.2 The Company will create an invoice reflecting the final, correct amount of the order which the Customer has agreed to and accepted on the Oseasons website. This invoice will act as a receipt on the internal database of the Oseasons website.

7. Delivery

7.1 Delivery of the Goods shall be made by the Company delivering the Goods to the place in the United Kingdom or outside the UK as specified in the Customer`s order and/or the Company`s acceptance as the location to which the Goods are to be delivered by the Company.

7.2 Orders with an included “free” delivery price represents delivery to the UK mainland only, which under the Company’s definition excludes the Scottish Highlands, Ireland and the Channel Islands. All orders sent to the Company to the excluded locations mentioned above will require an additional one-off payment on or prior to the order being placed to cover the extra costs to the excluded/restricted locations.

7.3 The Company will require additional payment(s) on or prior to the order being placed to cover the extra costs of any Orders requesting a delivery date on any day that does not fall on a Business Day. The Company may also require additional payment(s) for:

7.3.1 A Specific Date (as this may occur storage and/or courier charges)

7.3.2 A Specific Time (as this may occur storage and/or courier charges)

7.4 If the delivery address is outside the UK the Customer is liable for all import duties and procedures.

7.5 Off-loading at point of delivery shall be the responsibility of the Customer.

8. Cancellations

8.1 The Customer may request to cancel an order. This request will have to be in writing in an email to the Company. The cancellation request should be made as soon as possible by the Customer to allow the Company enough time to cancel the order before shipping the Goods out to the Customer.

8.2 If the cancellation request is received by the Company after the product has already been dispatched from the Company’s warehouse, the Customer should reject the Goods from the Courier to minimalise the refund time frame and other potential complications. Once the Goods are back in the Company’s warehouse, the Customer will then be refunded.

9. Return Policy

Received Faulty Goods

9.1 If the Customer discovers that the Goods have arrived faulty, The Customer must notify the Company as soon as the Customer discovers the defect and within a reasonable period of time (if the defect was not readily apparent).

9.2 The Company may inspect the Goods by asking for the Customer to send the Company photographs via email of the faulty goods and if possible; the original packaging too.

9.3 If the Company agrees with the Customer that the Goods are faulty, and that the fault was not caused by the Customer neglect or misuse of the Goods, the Company will, at the Customer’s choice, replace, fully refund or partially refund the faulty Goods (the Customer will keep the Goods if a partial refund is decided).

9.3.1 In the case of a replacement or Full refund, the Company will collect the Goods from the Customer with no extra charge to the Customer, if the Customer has already shipped the Goods back to the Company prior to the Company’s actioning for the return of the Goods, the Company will refund any reasonable proven costs to the Customer that the Customer has incurred in returning the faulty Goods to the Company. The Company recommends that the Customer keeps postal receipts for this purpose.

Received Incorrect Goods

9.4 If the Company sends the Customer incorrect Goods, the Customer must notify the Company as soon as the Customer discovers the mistake and within a reasonable period of time.

9.5 The Company will either:

9.5.1 Arrange for the Company carrier to collect the Goods from the Customer; or

9.5.2 Ask the Customer to return the Goods to the Company by Courier Company, the cost of which will be refunded to the Customer in full.

9.6 The Company will either, at the Customer’s choice:

9.6.1 Send the Customer the correct items as soon as possible after receipt of the returned Goods; or

9.6.2 Refund the price of the Goods and any delivery charges that the Customer may have paid in returning the Goods to the Company’s warehouse themselves.

Damaged Goods

9.7 If the Customer discovers that the Goods are damaged and:

9.7.1 Is within the Warranty time-frame for that product

9.7.2 The type of damage follows the Warranty’s guidelines.

Then the Customer must notify the Company at their earliest convenience.

9.8 The Company will inspect the Goods by asking the Customer to send the Company photographs via email of the damage(s) and if possible; photographs of the original packaging too.

9.9 If the Company agrees that the damage follows the Warranty’s guidelines, we will, at the Customer’s choice, replace, fully refund or Partially refund (the Customer will keep the Goods if a partial refund is decided) the Customer at no extra cost to the Customer.

9.10 If the Company deems the damage of the Product too severe to benefit the Company returning the item back to the Company’s Warehouse, the Company will:

9.10.1 Kindly ask the Customer to keep or dispose of the Product.

9.10.2 Retrieve the damaged item at no extra cost if the Customer is not willing to keep or dispose of the Product.

Change of Heart

9.11 If the Customer has a change of heart upon receiving the product or is not happy with the received product due to no fault of the Company, the Customer is free to return the product back to the Company within a period of 28 days of receiving the product. The cost of shipping of the product back to the Company will be paid by the Customer. Once the Goods are back in the Company’s warehouse, a full refund or a product swap of equal value will be offered to the Customer.

10. Privacy Policies

10.1 Once a Customer has placed an order on the Oseasons website, the following information will be given to Oseasons: (i) Customer’s Full name, (ii) Customers Full Billing address and Full Delivery address, (iii) Customer’s email address and telephone number(s).

10.2 The Company may use the given customer information for; (i) Internal record keeping, (ii) To improve products and services, (iii) Market research purposes, (iv) To send Oseasons promotions and special offers.

10.3 The Customer can restrict the use of the Customer’s personal information used by the Company by;

10.3.1 Clicking to opt-out of Oseason’s Marketing by checking or unchecking the tick box on the checkout screen of the Oseasons website for guest users (Customers that do not have an account or not logged in to the Oseasons website).

10.3.2 Clicking to opt-out of Oseason’s Marketing by checking or unchecking the tick box on the Account settings screen for Logged in users.

10.4 Oseasons or any company in direct affiliation with Great Sense Ltd, will not sell, distribute or lease the Customer’s personal information to third parties.

10.5 If the Customer has been re-directed to an external website using links on the Oseasons website, The Company does not have control or responsibility over the Customer’s protection or privacy during this period and therefore are not governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy.

10.6 The Company will not automatically subscribe a customer to the Oseasons newsletter feature.

11. General

11.1 If any provision of these Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these Conditions, then the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.

11.2 The Company reserves the right to make any changes to a product’s pricing, specifications and/or media of any kind on the Oseasons website.
